Aditya Gadhvi is a Gujarati folk and playback singer who began in the Dayro tradition, trained at A.R. Rahman’s conservatory in Chennai, and reached a worldwide audience with ‘Khalasi’ on Coke Studio Bharat in 2023. He received the Sangeet Natak Akademi’s Ustad Bismillah Khan Yuva Puraskar for 2020.

Aditya Gadhvi is a Gujarati folk and playback singer and lyricist. He comes from a family that, in his words, has worked in literature and music for four generations; his father, Yogesh Gadhvi, is a folk singer and folklorist. He began with Dayro, won ETV’s Lok Gayak Gujarat contest at eighteen and went on to study at A.R. Rahman’s KM Music Conservatory in Chennai. He has sung for Gujarati films including Hellaro and Ventilator, recorded Tamil songs with composer D. Imman, and released folk singles independently. ‘Khalasi’, his 2023 Coke Studio Bharat song with Achint, has passed 186 million views on YouTube. The Sangeet Natak Akademi named him for its Ustad Bismillah Khan Yuva Puraskar for 2020, and he tours across India, North America, the UK and Australia.

આદિત્ય ગઢવી ગુજરાતી લોકગાયક, પાર્શ્વગાયક અને ગીતકાર છે. તેમના કહેવા મુજબ તેમના પરિવારની ચાર પેઢીઓ સાહિત્ય અને સંગીત સાથે જોડાયેલી રહી છે; પિતા યોગેશ ગઢવી લોકગાયક અને લોકસાહિત્યકાર છે. ડાયરાથી શરૂઆત કરીને તેમણે અઢાર વર્ષની ઉંમરે ETVની ‘લોકગાયક ગુજરાત’ સ્પર્ધા જીતી અને પછી ચેન્નઈમાં એ. આર. રહેમાનની કે. એમ. મ્યુઝિક કન્ઝર્વેટરીમાં અભ્યાસ કર્યો. ‘હેલ્લારો’ અને ‘વેન્ટિલેટર’ સહિતની ગુજરાતી ફિલ્મોમાં ગાયું, સંગીતકાર ડી. ઇમાન સાથે તમિલ ગીતો ગાયાં અને લોકગીતો સ્વતંત્ર રીતે રજૂ કર્યાં. અચિંત સાથેનું તેમનું 2023નું કોક સ્ટુડિયો ભારત ગીત ‘ખલાસી’ YouTube પર 18.6 કરોડથી વધુ વાર જોવાયું છે. સંગીત નાટક અકાદમીએ તેમની વર્ષ 2020ના ઉસ્તાદ બિસ્મિલ્લા ખાન યુવા પુરસ્કાર માટે પસંદગી કરી, અને તેઓ ભારત, ઉત્તર અમેરિકા, યુકે અને ઑસ્ટ્રેલિયામાં કાર્યક્રમો કરે છે.
